BOISE, Idaho — The City of Boise will test a new pick-up and drop-off zone beginning on Friday, Oct. 25 and conclude on Sunday, Nov. 24.

The new zone will be located on the south side of Bannock Street between 8th Street and Capitol Boulevard.

"With this new zone, the city hopes to reduce congestion and improve the flow of traffic in front of nearby downtown businesses," according to the City of Boise press release.

Similar to the first zone test that the City of Boise Parking Services conducted back in May 2019 on Main Street between 5th and 6th Streets, the pick-up and drop-off zone will be active during 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
