The search for a missing Baker County hunter enters its sixth day

BAKER COUNTY, OREGON, Ore — Ground crews will be searching for Andy Dennis in the area of the Kettle Creek and Little Kettle Creek drainages throughout the day on Oct. 4. 

The search for Dennis began in the afternoon of Sept. 29 after he and his dog failed to return from a hunting trip. 

The 60-year-old's vehicle was last seen parked at the East Eagle trailhead.

The Baker County Search and Rescue Team, the Union County Search and Rescue and Wallowa County Search and Rescue are all working to find Dennis.

Additionally, if the weather allows, the sheriff's office says a drone team will be deployed as well.

UPDATE (10/4/19 6:57 A.M.): Ground crews will be conducting an exten... sive search in the area of the Kettle Creek and Little Kettle Creek drainages. The Baker County Search and Rescue Team will be assisted by ground searchers from Union County Search and Rescue and Wallowa County Search and Rescue.
