Prepare for an 'Animal Style' grand opening, In-N-Out to open Tuesday

When Idaho's first In-N-Out opens, it will be the fast-food chain's 400th location.

BOISE, Idaho — The two-year wait for Idaho's very first In-N-Out Burger is over.

The popular, California-based burger joint officially opens its double-double doors on Tuesday at the Village in Meridian, according to a news release.

The Gem State's first In-N-Out is the store's 400th location. The establishment is located at 3520 E. Fairview Ave. In addition to indoor and outdoor seating, the restaurant offers one drive-thru lane.

Operating hours are from 10:30 a.m. to 1 a.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 10:30 a.m. to 1:30 a.m. Fridays and Saturdays.

The location can seat 84 people inside and 32 people outside, the release stated. The Meridian In-N-Out will staff 80 employees - with a starting wage of $17.50.

Since 1948, In-N-Out Burger's menu has remained largely unchanged, offering burgers, fries, shakes and sodas. A well-known "secret menu" also includes protein and animal-style options.

Guests can expect long wait times during the initial opening of the restaurant due to the extremely high public interest.

For Idahoans eager to bite into a "Double-Double" burger or "Animal Style" fry, a traffic plan is available to help ease traffic by stacking cars in the parking lot.

As KTVB previously reported, four large dirt lots have recently been paved to accommodate the stacking plan. The Village at Meridian said the lots "have been unused for years."
