The stretch between Exit 33 and 25 will be closed from 10 p.m. tonight and 5 a.m. Tuesday.

NAMPA, Idaho — Starting at 10 p.m. Monday, part of Interstate 84 will close down so crews can continue working on the new Karcher overpass.

Eastbound I-84, from Exit 33 and 35, will be closed until 5 a.m. Tuesday.

The same stretch will close down again on Tuesday at 10 p.m. until 5 a.m. Wednesday.

Drivers will need to use this detour and expect delays while crews work overnight.

The Karcher overpass was closed down on March 12, and won't reopen until sometime in December.

The Idaho Transportation Department is rebuilding the overpass, which was built in 1966, to make room for the expanding interstate.
