Bronco Roundup Game Day Show previews Boise State vs. Fresno State

For an exclusive look at Boise State players warming up in Fresno ahead of kickoff, tune into KTVB.COM, KTVB+ and KTVB's YouTube channel at 7 p.m. MT Saturday.

BOISE, Idaho — Boise State looks to build off its best performance of the season as it enters a "hostile environment" Saturday night to face Fresno State in a rematch of last year's Mountain West title game.

The Broncos need a win to keep pace in the conference standings and to avoid giving up the Milk Can rivalry trophy. Earning a winning record for the first time fall won't come easy, as the Bulldogs tout a 7-1 record and a top-15 passing attack in the country.

Saturday's matchup gets underway at 8 p.m. MT on CBS Sports Network. Boise State is a slight underdog, but carries momentum into the Golden State after limiting Wyoming to 112 yards of total offense last week. The Cowboys are the only team to beat Fresno State this year.

"When you walk from the locker room down to the field, those fans are gonna make you feel like you don't belong there, and you wouldn't have it any other way," Boise State defensive coordinator Spencer Danielson said. "That's college football at its finest and that's the way it should be when you're going to an opponent's house. We know that's what it's gonna be and we're excited for the challenge."
