BOISE, Idaho — Boise maintained its top-ranked status in the latest Idaho high school girls basketball state media poll, earning one more first-place vote than Lake City. The Brave visit Rocky Mountain for a top-five battle Tuesday night.
Tuesday's 5A rankings saw one change from the debut poll released last week, with Coeur d'Alene moving up a spot. Also moving up at the 4A level is Jerome, who jumped Bishop Kelly. The Knights suffered just their fourth loss of the season on Jan. 5, falling to Ridgevue 52-47.
South Fremont (3A) and Richfield (1A DII) entered the media poll this week, while Pocatello (4A), Grangeville (2A), Bear Lake (2A), Oakley (1A DI), Raft River (1A DI) and Tri-Valley (1A DII) also moved up in the rankings. Only two teams in the Gem State remain unbeaten as of Thursday afternoon.
