MERIDIAN, Idaho — The northbound lanes of Meridian Road were blocked for more than an hour Monday morning after a three-vehicle crash involving two trucks and a car.
Stephanie Galbreath, a spokeswoman for the Meridian Police Department, says two people were injured and transported to the hospital by ground ambulance. Their injuries are not life-threatening.
She said one of the crash victims had to be extricated from their vehicle.
The crash was reported at 10:38 a.m. It's located between Amity Road and Lake Hazel Road on Highway 69 (Meridian Road).
A viewer sent us a photo of the crash. It shows a pickup truck on its side along the shoulder of the highway.
Galbreath says traffic was diverted while police investigated and emergency responders treated the crash victims.
