KOOTENAI COUNTY, Idaho — It looks like the love from Valentine's Day hasn't worn off for one Kootenai County couple. Friday afternoon, Deputy Doug of the Kootenai County Sheriff's department aided in a marriage proposal.

The Deputy went into a business in The Village shopping mall at  Riverstone and asked for the owner of a certain car in the parking lot. He then explained that there had been several car break-in's in the area and he received a call to report someone breaking into her car.

The man of the alleged break-in claimed to know her and when the woman and deputy approached the car, he emerged from the car. The woman realized that it  turned out to be her boyfriend, saying he wanted to leave some flowers in her car. Deputy Doug instructed the man to kneel on the pavement.

As he knelt down he pulled out a ring and asked the woman to marry him, to which she responded yes.
