Mom Matters on Idaho Today is a new series created by moms for moms as a safe place to share, collaborate and support one another. In our second episode, the panel discusses how all moms need a strong community.
“I define community as like hearts with shared values,” says Shannon McGuire, Founder of Supreme Moms. “It’s also a group of people who can lift me up and challenge me.”
McGuire funded a Gallup poll focused specifically on Idaho moms. Host Mellisa Paul is utilizing this poll information for the initial segments of Mom Matters. This data will be available to the public on May 9th -- Mother’s Day, of course. (Watch Mom Matters on Idaho Today on Wednesdays for more details.)
“Community is so important to us as women,” says Krista Bell, Certified Life Coach. “We have to put ourselves out there, take that risk, and share ‘the mom book’ with each other.”
