When beloved KTVB meteorologist Larry Gebert passed away in the spring of 2022, KTVB and the Gebert family invited the public to donate funds to the 7Cares Fund in his honor... Julie Gebert and their sons decided on two non-profits near and dear to Larry's heart to recognize. Idaho Today’s Mellisa Paul welcomed Metro Meals on Wheels and the Make-a-Wish Foundation as well as the Idaho Community Foundation and the Gebert Family into the studio to explain Larry’s involvement and love of the community, and to provide an exciting announcement to these two non-profits that are changing lives right here in Idaho
