For more than 40 years, Camp Rainbow Gold has provided summer camps for Idaho children with cancer and their families.
"We now serve close to 400 families," says Lonni Leavitt-Barker, Campaign Director for Camp Rainbow Gold. "We have two family camps, a children’s oncology camp, a teen oncology camp and a camp just for the siblings.”
With their summer camps starting June 9th, Camp Rainbow Gold needs help finishing their camp's playground and two sports courts -- both which need to be wheelchair-accessible.
"These camps are life-changing," says Leavitt-Barker. "It’s a place of healing and where these kids get to be kids.”
