Brundage unveils new branding as part of resort improvements

The new logo and color scheme are meant to be visual reminders, focusing on the improvements to enhance the experience people have at Brundage Mountain Resort.

MCCALL, Idaho — Independently-owned Brundage Mountain Resort gave their website an update on Tuesday, launching a new logo and brand identity. The goal of the change was to better match the resort's vision for the future.

The new logo and color scheme are meant to be visual reminders, focusing on the improvements to enhance the experience people have at the resort.

Per their website, "as Brundage Mountain Resort writes the next chapter of its story, one thing is certain: the main character will not change. The Mountain – as you know it, in its own way – will remain the same and always comes first."

"We strongly believe a ski resort's true brand is the experience that people have while they're here," Brundage Mountain General Manager Ken Rider said. "Logos and fonts are simply the symbols we use to communicate that we are thinking of the Mountain First and will be prioritizing the Mountain Always."

This new brand identity is just one facet of Brundage's improvement plans. After a group of Idaho-based investors acquired the resort in November 2020, the resort has been mapping out plans for future improvements, a news release said.

Improvements being made include the new Centennial Express High-Speed Quad, which will be opening early December 2023, a new 12,000 square foot Mountain Adventure Center set to open in the fall of 2024, and the resorts first ski in/ski out lodging.

Brundage said the brand promise, "Mountain First, Mountain Always," is a reflection of the ownership group's commitment to keeping the on-mountain experience as the top priority.

"Brundage Mountain has been known for 'The Best Snow in Idaho' for decades," Rider said. "The people who love Brundage know that it's about so much more than just the incredible Northern Rockies snow. It's about coming to a friendly, low-key place where people who love the outdoors can enjoy what nature provides but also enjoy each other's company, good food, fun events, and where they can create great memories and family traditions."
