Police searching for person of interest after fight in downtown Boise

Police on Thursday said the reported fight left a man in the hospital with serious injuries.

BOISE, Idaho — The Boise Police Department is asking the public for help in identifying a man after a reported battery left one person with multiple injuries. 

Police on Thursday said officers responded to a reported fight in the area of 200 South Capitol Boulevard in downtown Boise on March 29. The incident happened as a crowd exited Idaho Central Arena, and police found an injured man. 

The man was taken to an area hospital where he was treated and released after suffering "serious but not life-threatening injuries," according to Boise Police. 

As part of the ongoing investigation, which began March 29, detectives are hoping to speak with the person of interest shown in the photo below. Anyone with information is asked to call Ada County Dispatch at 208-377-6790.
