Ada County Highway District launches two new apps for drivers and cyclists

ACHD says they are excited about the new easy-access apps.

BOISE, Idaho — The Ada County Highway District has launched two new apps to help cyclists and drivers better navigate the county's roadways.

The ACHD Bike Map app allows users to access an interactive bike map, which helps bikers identify streets and roads where bike routes have been established.

It also includes locations of bike air and repair stations, Greenbike locations, as well as other paths and trails.

The ACHD Reporter app allows drivers and bikers to report issues like potholes, sight obstructions, signal malfunctions, and other concerns.

You just select an issue, upload a picture, set a location and add comments. The information is then sent directly to ACHD.

“We are excited to provide these easy-access apps to our customers,” said ACHD Commission President Rebecca Arnold. “Now people will be able to report problems more readily to us and have help navigating the network of bike lanes and other transportation amenities in the area.”

Both apps are now available for download.
