BOISE, Idaho — The Ada County Highway District put out the call to the public last week to report potholes to be patched. And they got a big response.

A spokesperson says ACHD crews repaired 208 potholes across Ada County last week and early this week.

This comes after the highway district announced that it was having its annual Pothole Days April 2-4.

ACHD holds the yearly event to encourage the public to report potholes and get them fixed quickly. Usually it takes about 24 hours response time for a pothole to be patched.

ACHD wants to remind the public that potholes can be reported anytime.

You can do so by going to ACHD’s website, clicking on the “Contact Us” tab and filling out the form.

Be sure to take a photo of the pothole, tell the highway district where it is and provide any additional details that you think might be helpful.
