NAMPA -- Four people were taken to the hospital Wednesday night after a three-car crash on Interstate 84.
The wreck happened at about 6:30 p.m. near Garrity Boulevard in Nampa.
According to Idaho State Police, 34-year-old Natasha Chapman was driving west when she hit another car, driven by 34-year-old Kelsey Yearsley of Boise. The impact of the collision pushed Yearsley's car into a third vehicle, driven by 62-year-old Mark Laursen of Boise.
Chapman and Yearsley were taken by ambulance to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, while Laursen and his passenger, 84-year-old Barbara Laursen of Arizona, were taken to Saint Alphonsus Medical Center in Nampa.
Chapman was the only person not wearing a seatbelt, police say.
Westbound I-84 was completely blocked for about 45 minutes, and partially blocked for 25 minutes after that. All lanes have since reopened.
The crash remains under investigation.
