BOISE, Idaho — A Boise man is facing a felony charge of lewd conduct with a minor after investigators say he had sex with an underage girl.
Keith L. Maxwell, 40, was taken into custody early Saturday morning. He and the teenage victim know each other, deputies say.
According to the Ada County Sheriff's Office, deputies were called out to a home near Lake Hazel and South Five Mile roads at 2 a.m. to investigate.
Deputies gathered evidence and arrested Maxwell. He was booked into the Ada County Jail.
Maxwell is currently out on bail, and is scheduled for a preliminary hearing April 15.
If convicted of lewd conduct, he could face up to life in prison.
