Boise man, 77, pleads guilty to distributing meth

BOISE, Idaho — A 77-year-old Boise man has entered a guilty plea to distributing more than 50 grams of methamphetamine.

Court records show Clinton DeWitt Bays was out on bond for drug trafficking and meth possession charges when he sold meth to an undercover officer.

Bays faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years to life in prison, a $10 million fine, and at least five years of supervised release.

His sentencing hearing is scheduled for February 20, 2020.
