Woman killed in two-vehicle crash near Eagle Road identified

A Boise woman was killed in the crash and a man was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

BOISE, Idaho — A woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash near Eagle Road on Saturday afternoon, according to the Boise Police Department (BPD).

Boise Police responded to reports of a crash between McMillan and Ustick Roads near Eagle Road at 4 p.m. on Saturday. 

BPD said a car driving north on Eagle Road attempted to turn left across southbound traffic. The first southbound lane was stopped, but the car was hit when traveling through the second lane.

The woman in the turning car, who was later identified as 21-year-old Kess Boesch of Boise, was killed in the crash. The male was taken to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries and his condition is not known.

The driver and passenger in the other vehicle were not hurt. 

Southbound Eagle Road was closed between McMillan and Ustick Roads following the crash and reopened around 9 p.m. on Saturday.
