Forecast: A soggy Sunday in store

Clouds began moving in by Saturday afternoon in preperation of the next storm system. A potent Pacific storm will bring showers to southern Idaho beginning tonight in the West Central mountains and by early Sunday for the Treasure Valley.
Rain is expected to continue into Monday with 1-2" possible for locations in the West Central and Boise mountains. Valleys could see .25-.75". Snow levels will start above 7000' then drop to about 5000' Monday. Showers will taper off and move eastward with drier conditions will taking over on Tuesday.
Temperatures will drop a bit for Sunday and Monday, with daytime highs reaching the low-to-mid-50s. Morning lows will also flirt with near freezing temperatures by midweek but highs will climb back into the 60s by Friday.
