BOISE, Idaho — An accident on Interstate-84, near the Maple Grove overpass, sent two adults and four children to the hospital on Saturday afternoon.
Police say the crash occurred when a 23-year-old Boise driver failed to slow down and rear-ended another vehicle, sending the car across two lanes of traffic until it crashed into a barrier.
The driver, a 32-year-old Mountain Home man, his passenger, and four juveniles were all transported to St. Luke's Meridian Medical Center.
All occupants were wearing seatbelts.
The crash happened around 3:15 p.m., according to dispatch, and cleared it about 4:30 p.m.
According to Idaho State Police, the crash happened at milepost 49 in Boise.
