When I walked out of the house this morning at 3:55am (I know, way too early for anyone to be up) I had to turn back around and get a coat! It was really snowing out there... and I'm talking big, fluffy, flakes.

We had a little hint of spring with the 68 degree temperatures on Monday, but this is Idaho folks! "You just never know what you're going to get"... kinda like Forrest Gump and that darn box of chocolates.
So, Tamarack shut down yesterday at 4pm. So sad... here's a pic of the ski lift in operation for the last time! (or until it gets more cash to re-open)
But there is good news for all of you Tamarack season pass holders - you can ski at Brundage and Bogus for a reduced rate! Now would be a great time to take advantage of the offer, with all of our new snow. Brundage is offering 10 to 20 dollar discounts, and Bogus is offering half price tickets until the end of the season for 2008/2009 pass holders!
