BOISE, Idaho — A Twin Falls man died in a hospital Tuesday after he was in a crash last week in Jerome County.

According to Idaho State Police, they responded to a semi-truck crash east of Jerome on Nov. 14 at around 4 p.m.

Police said a 65-year-old man from Twin Falls was driving south on US 93 in a Kenworth when he veered off the road, attempted to get back on the road, and overcorrected. The semi-truck returned to the right shoulder when it tipped on its side causing the trailer to detach. He was the only person involved in the crash.

The driver was not wearing a seatbelt during the crash and was transported to the hospital, police said.
