BOISE, Idaho — Fifty-six schools across the nation are picked to help decorate the National Christmas Tree in Washington, D.C.
This year's tree comes from Pennsylvania but it will include a little piece of Idaho.
The National Park Service says students at Timberline High School in Boise will represent the Gem State.
The tree will light the sky on December 5th at the 97th annual National Christmas Tree lighting ceremony.
Students from every state, U.S. territory and Washington, D.C. will provide handcrafted ornaments for this year's tree.
