Nampa man dies after wreck near Donnelly

A Nampa man died from his injuries after crashing into a tree in Valley County Monday morning.

DONNELLY, Idaho — A Nampa man died from his injuries after crashing his pickup into a tree in Valley County Monday morning. 

The wreck happened just before 6 a.m. on West Mountain Road west of Donnelly. 

According to Idaho State Police, 28-year-old Homero Delosreyes Jr. was driving south in a GMC Sierra when he veered off the road. The pickup plummeted down an embankment and hit a tree.

Delosreyes was wearing a seatbelt, according to ISP, but was badly injured in the wreck. He was airlifted to Saint Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, where he died hours later. 

An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday. The crash remains under investigation by Idaho State Police.
