Most city of Boise facilities, services closed Christmas Day

Services like trash pick-up will resume the next day. Parks and cemeteries are open.

BOISE, Idaho — On Christmas Day most facilities and services in the city of Boise will be closed. Recycling, compost and trash pick-up will also halt and resume the following day.

"All Boise Public Library locations, City Hall and City Hall West, will be closed on Monday, December 25, in observance of Christmas," a social media post stated.

Parks and cemeteries do remain open during Christmas.
