Be the Light: Support the Wassmuth Center During Idaho Gives

Founded in 1996, The Wassmuth Center is home to the Idaho Anne Frank Human Rights Memorial in downtown Boise.

Founded in 1996, The Wassmuth Center is home to the Idaho Anne Frank Human Rights Memorial in downtown Boise. As the memorial’s plaque says, it is “honoring the victims of hate, intolerance, violence and those who confront injustice.”

“Over the years, we have worked really hard to build educational programming connected to the messages in the memorial,” says Christina Bruce-Bennion, executive director of the center. “We work with educators on how to protect human rights in our community and take action in a positive way.”

Funds raised through Idaho Gives will help The Wassmuth Center’s educational efforts, such as their reading program for young learners and new teen leadership program.

Support The Wassmuth Center and donate to Idaho Gives by midnight, May 2nd.
