EAGLE, Idaho — Three people were injured in a head-on crash at a busy Eagle intersection Tuesday afternoon.
Patrick Orr, a spokesman for the Ada County Sheriff's Office, says two cars collided at the intersection of Highway 44 and Linder Road. The accident happened around 3 p.m.
Orr says one of the drivers was taken to the hospital by ground ambulance. Two people in the other vehicle went to the hospital in a private vehicle.
No word on the extent of their injuries, but Orr says they do not appear to be life-threatening. The names and ages of the those involved have not been released.
Southbound traffic on Linder Road and eastbound traffic on Highway 44 was blocked for about an hour while police investigated and crews worked to clean up the scene. All lanes of traffic were back open again by 4 p.m.
