BOISE, Idaho — The Idaho Department of Fish and Game says all campgrounds at Horsethief Reservoir will be open to visitors on Wednesday, May 15th.
There is no reservation system at Horsethief, all campsites are available on a first-come, first-served basis
Some parts of the popular camping area have snow and mud, but should dry out with this warmer weather.
Fish and Game will be stocking the reservoir with 15,000 rainbow trout this month.
Horsethief Reservoir is managed cooperatively by the Idaho Department of Fish and Game and the YMCA.
