BOISE, Idaho — A section of Highway 21 known as “avalanche alley” is closed again.

The Idaho Transportation Department says until further notice the highway is closed to traffic between Grandjean and Banner Summit because of an avalanche.

"Avalanche alley" covers 12 miles along the stretch of highway that links Stanley and Lowman.
