2 people dead after head-on crash near Notus

The crash happened Monday on Highway 20/26.

CANYON COUNTY, Idaho — Two people are dead after a crash on Highway 20/26 near Notus. According to the Canyon County Sheriff's Office (CCSO), the crash happened Monday, April 22 around 3 p.m., near Mink Rd.

A 49-year-old man from Caldwell driving westbound a 2007 Mack dump truck crossed into the eastbound lane and hit a 58-year-old-man from Nampa driving a 2011 Chevrolet Silverado and pulling a 2010 Toyota FJ Cruiser on a 2020 C&B flatbed trailer head-on. Both drivers died at the scene.

Idaho State Police were on the scene and is investigating, assisted by CCSO.
