BOISE, Idaho — A man is dead after he was involved in a two-vehicle crash in Gooding County early Monday morning.
Idaho State Police(ISP) said the crash happened at 2:23 a.m. on Westbound I-84 near Bliss when an 18-year-old man driving westbound in a red 1997 Chevy GMT-400 crashed into a light pole. Police said the truck rolled and came to a stop in the median, and the 18-year-old was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected.
ISP said the driver of the Chevy was hit by a 2003 Peterbilt traveling eastbound on I-84 driven by a 32-year-old man.
The 18-year-old died at the scene, police said.
His identity is unknown at this time.
Idaho State Police are investigating the incident.
