Flooding causes road closures in Adams County

Some roads in Adams County are closed due to flooding.

NEW MEADOWS, Idaho — Spring flooding season is upon us and we now have an alert regarding road closures in Adams County due to flooding.

In New Meadows, the sheriff's office says that the South End Road from Highway 95 to Substation Road and Hubbard Lane are closed at this time.

No roads have been closed in the Council or Indian Valley areas.

However, Jackson Creek is experiencing major flooding.

Sand bags are available in Council at the Weed Building and in New Meadows at the fire station.
