The 13-year-old boy was charged with aggravated assault and taken to juvenile detention.

BOISE, Idaho — A 13-year-old boy was arrested and charged for pointing a BB gun at a woman at the Boise Towne Square Mall. According to the Boise Police Department (BPD), they were called to the mall on Sunday, Feb. 4 around 3:00 p.m., when a woman reported a teen had pointed a gun at her.

BPD stated in a news release they found a group of teenagers, detained them and reviewed video that led them to the boy. Police said they went to his home and found a BB gun that looked similar to a real gun.

BPD then arrested the boy, charged him with aggravated assault and took him to juvenile detention.
