CALDWELL, Idaho — The Canyon County coroner has identified a man’s body found near a Nampa canal Wednesday morning.
The deceased man is 52-year-old Timothy Rose of Nampa. He had been reported missing earlier this month.
An autopsy was performed Friday morning at the Canyon County Coroner’s Office. The official cause of death has not been determined. It could take several weeks before toxicology results are received. At this time, Rose’s death does not appear to be suspicious.
It’s also unclear how long the body has been there. It was found next to the canal at the north end of Kohlerlawn Cemetery on 6th Street North. Someone in the area found the body and reported it to police. The body was located in a possible sinkhole.
