2 men wanted for string of fraudulent ATM withdrawals in Ada County

Two victims have been identified by police so far, but police believe there are more victims.

BOISE, Idaho — The Ada County Sheriff's Office is searching for two men that they say used stolen credit card information to make fraudulent cash withdraws from ATMs in Boise, Eagle, and Kuna.

Investigators are still determining how the men got the stolen credit card information and pin numbers. They say evidence suggests that the two men are working together because they both made withdraws at the same time at different ATMs in Kuna and Boise.

Police say both men rode bicycles when they went up to the ATMs and would leave whenever a car pulled in behind them, only to return when the car left.

Two victims have been identified by police so far, but police believe there are more victims. They say the man in the grey sweatshirt stood at one ATM for 18 minutes while going through a stack of credit cards.

If you recognize either of the men in the photos, police ask that you contact Detective Matt Buie at 208-577-3738 or mBuie@adacounty.id.gov.
