MINIDOKA -- A Gooding man was killed when he rolled his pickup truck on Highway 24 Wednesday afternoon.
The crash happened at 2:48 p.m. near Minidoka, according to Idaho State Police.
Investigators say 56-year-old Alan M. Kime was driving west in a 2004 pickup when he veered off the shoulder of the highway. Kime overcorrected, steering back across both lanes, and his truck rolled.
The driver was not wearing a seatbelt, and was thrown from the Ford as it overturned, police say. He died from his injuries at the scene.
The wreck blocked the entire highway for about three hours as police investigated.
