SEATTLE - U.S. News & World Report Wednesday unveiled its 2016 Best 100 Places to Live in the United States. The list was based on affordability, job prospects, and quality of life.

Boise finished sixth on the list. Colorado had two cities in the top ten, including No. 1 Denver and No. 5. Colorado Springs.

Northwest cities Seattle (No. 7), Portland (No. 20), and Spokane (No. 52) also made the list.

The Best Places to Live ranking is based on what people say are their most important concerns about where to live, such as cost of living, employment opportunities, and access to good schools.
