BOISE -- Some big academic news from Boise State University today.
The university is bringing in a professor from Harvard University to lead its new College of Innovation and Design.
Gordon Jones is currently the director of the Innovation Lab at Harvard.
He'll begin working at Boise State on June 1st.
When Boise State President Dr. Bob Kustra announced the College of Innovation and Design in his most recent State of the University address, he said it will bring together diverse disciplines -- for example, art and computer science.
The college is expected to enroll its first students in the fall.
