Boise mom wants to thank Good Samaritan that helped her daughter after car crash

Charlee Smith says she would like to personally thank the woman that comforted Amory after the crash.

BOISE, Idaho —
After a frightening car accident, a Boise woman is searching for the stranger who comforted her daughter.

“To know that she had someone comforting her when I couldn't be there was huge,” said Charlee Smith. “I was really grateful for that and I don’t know who she is and I just wanted to thank her.”

Charlee Smith says on Monday night around 8:30 her friend was driving her daughter Amory home when it was involved in an accident.

“The car had rolled, my friend was trapped, she couldn't breathe, she had cracked her ribs, she couldn't get out of her seatbelt, they actually had to cut her out of the car,” said Smith. “But this woman, I'm not sure where she came from and I don't have a name for her, but she pulled my daughter out of the back seat and sat there with her until the paramedics came, she sat there and held her hand.”

Luckily, Amory only suffered some minor scrapes and bruises.

Charlee's friend had several cracked ribs but will be OK.

Now, she's searching for this mystery woman who calmed and comforted her daughter to say thank you.

“I would love to take her out for coffee and say ‘thank you so much for doing that for my girl,’” said Smith.

The car that rolled and that Amory was in was a gray Volkswagen Jetta.

If you are that Good Samaritan that helped Amory, her mom says “thank you.”
