SPOKANE, Wash. — A shift in the weather pattern brings about sunshine and warmer temperatures as we head into the weekend. Don't think this will be a balmy shift in the weather pattern, but temps in the low 40s with a mix of clouds and sun will be the case Friday through Sunday.
There's a little, so small we can call it a mini trough, moving through tonight that might bring some mountain snow to parts of the Inland Northwest early Saturday. It's not a pow day by any means, but resorts could get a fresh 1-2 inches of snow by first chair.
The next chance of snow in lower elevations arrives Monday. Best case (if you're a snow lover) we get 1-2 inches in lower elevation areas. Enjoy it while you can, next week is looking dry and mild.
