BOISE, Idaho — A cold front will be moving through tonight giving us a cool down that will take us all the way to frost levels by Thursday morning.
A frost advisory has been issued that will go through Thursday morning but the coolest temperatures will be midweek. Early morning temperatures may be as low as 32 to 36 degrees, resulting in frost formation.
The advisory applies to Ada, Adams, Boise, Camas, Canyon, Elmore, Gem, Gooding, Jerome, Owyhee, Payette, Twin Falls, Valley and Washington counties in Idaho as well as Malheur County in Oregon.
Frost can kill sensitive outdoor vegetation if left uncovered. It's important to take steps to protect plants from the cold.
