BOISE, Idaho — Delta Airlines will begin offering non-stop service from Boise to Atlanta later this fall, the Boise Airport announced Monday.

The once-daily, year-round flights will be available starting Nov. 20, 2020.

Atlanta is now the 20th location to which Boise offers non-stop service.

"Recruiting nonstop service to Atlanta has been a goal of mine since I joined the Boise Airport in 2012," Boise Airport Director Rebecca Hupp. "I couldn't be happier about this announcement and look forward to working with our partners at Delta to ensure the success of this route."

All of the flights to Atlanta will be on a 160-seat Boeing 737-800. Tickets are available now.

Once service begins in November, the flights to Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport will be the longest nonstop route from Boise, and the furthest east.

"The Boise Chamber has long been an advocate for an east coast air connection," said Boise Chamber's President and CEO Bill Connors. "We are thrilled that Delta is recommitting to Boise in this way, and we will do all we can to help make this route successful. Congratulations to the Boise Airport for adding an important new route to the portfolio. This is a game-changer for Boise's business community as well as our convention and visitor industry."
