BOISE - The I-184 Connector is back open Monday morning after slick conditions shut it down Sunday night.
Police blocked the on-ramps to I-184 for hours as they waited for road crews to put down de-icer. The Connector was reopened at about 1 a.m.
Snow on Sunday created slushy and wet conditions on Treasure Valley roadways, turning into freezing conditions as temperatures dropped overnight. Many routes around the Valley - particularly in neighborhoods that have not yet been plowed - remain icy.
Drivers are urged to slow down and be careful on the roads, even if ice is not visible.
Slick, foggy conditions earlier Sunday caused multiple crashes on I-84 east of Boise.
