Bogus Basin hosts job fair, looks to hire 500 new employees

"The perspective candidates are everyone from a high schooler to retired community members who enjoy working weekends and professional workers as well."

BOISE, Idaho — A range of full and part-time positions are available for the upcoming 2021-22 winter season at Bogus Basin. This will be Bogus Basin's 79th winter season and will launch on November 25, Thanksgiving Day, and will be open until mid-April 2022. Each winter, the non-profit hires 500 employees.

"The perspective candidates are everyone from a high schooler to retired community members who enjoy working weekends and professional workers as well," said Susan Saad, Bogus Basin's director of community and customer relations.

Bogus Basin is looking to fill positions in all departments, including food and beverage, mountain coaster, and ski/snowboard school.

"Working at Bogus Basin is great. One of the benefits is you get a full season pass, free transportation to the mountain and supports a non-profit recreation area for the community," Saad said.

Bogus Basin hosted a job fair on Saturday at their Downtown Sales Office, but anyone who might have missed the event and is looking for a job can still apply online at Bogusbasin.org.
