BOISE -- Fans looking for a place for watch Friday night's 2018 Olympic Opening Ceremony had a chance to join local athletes who represented the U.S. in past Olympic Games.

The event at White Dog Brewing at 705 West Fulton St. in Boise featured a watch party, as well as a panel in which Idaho Olympians and Paralympians told stories, answered questions and explained the behind-the-scenes of the ceremony and games.

Panelists included White Dog Brewing co-owner Dan Jordan, a 2004 Paralympian and silver medalist in rifle shooting; Ian Waltz, a 2004 and 2008 Olympian in discus; Sammi Tucker, a 2016 Paralympian in archery and Will Brown, a 2016 Olympian in pistol shooting .

The panel was moderated by Jordan's wife, Amber Jordan - herself a member of the U.S. National Shooting Team and athlete liaison for the 2010 Games in Vancouver and 2012 Games in London.
