BOISE -- This weekend marks the beginning of the Kelly Cup Playoffs, and for the Idaho Steelheads, who currently sit in second place, it also marks the beginning of a tough decision for head coach Neil Graham.
Who starts in goal?
Is it Thomas Sholl, the top goalie in the league the last six weeks, unbeaten in regulation in his last 19 games? His four shutouts just shy of the league lead?
Or is it Philippe Desrosiers. the veteran, who's fantastic season has earned him a call-up to the AHL?
"We are very confident with both goaltenders," head coach Neil Graham said. "Phil Desrosiers has had an outstanding season. He's been up for the last couple of months with Texas and then you speak about Thomas Sholl, what a story, he's had a terrific year."
Both goalies are in the top ten in the league in several stats categories.
"We're confident with both," Graham added. "But we're excited to get going."
