BOISE -- Another day, another smoky sky in the Treasure Valley.
The Idaho Department of Environmental Quality has forecasted a red "unhealthy" air quality alert for Friday. Reports on its website Friday morning showed Boise in the orange "unhealthy for sensitive groups" level and Nampa just above the red level. By Noon, levels had moved back into the red category.
DEQ has forecasted an orange "unhealthy for sensitive groups" air quality alert for Saturday for the Treasure Valley.
List of Friday's canceled games:
-All Boise School District outdoor activities and events have been canceled again Friday. Practices will be held inside.
-Bishop Kelly vs Caldwell has been rescheduled for 2:30 p.m. at Bishop Kelly.
-Capital vs. Highland varsity football game was canceled Friday morning in anticipation of poor air conditions.
-Council vs. Idaho City football game has been rescheduled for Saturday at 5 p.m. in Idaho City. The tailgate party for tonight has also been postponed.
-Eagle vs. Nampa varsity football has been rescheduled for 3 p.m. Saturday in Eagle.
-Mountain View vs. Centennial has been rescheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday.
-Nampa Christina vs. Parma has been rescheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday.
-Notus vs. Tri-Valley football game has been rescheduled for Saturday at 7 p.m. at Tri-Valley.
-Payette vs. Marsing varsity football game tonight has been postponed to a later date.
-Salmon River vs. Prairie football game has been canceled and will not be made up.
-Skyview vs. Ridgeview has been rescheduled for 2 p.m. on Saturday
-Rocky Mountain vs. Meridian has been rescheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday.
-Vallivue vs. Middleton football game rescheduled for 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Middleton.
-All West Ada outdoor after school activities have been canceled Friday. Outdoor games will be rescheduled.
Several high school games were canceled or rescheduled Thursday night as well.
