CALDWELL, Idaho — Vallivue High School senior Amoro Lado has been named the 4A Southern Idaho Conference Player of the Year.
Lado led the conference in scoring this season and broke the school record for average points per game (23.8).
He also led the Falcons to a 4th place finish at the 4A state tournament, averaging 22.3 points per game over a three-game stretch against some of the best competition in Idaho.
"Some people don't even get to play," Lado said. "So I think for me, getting a chance to play and start and get player of the year? I think it's special."
