BOISE -- The Idaho Stampede named Randy Livingston the eigth head coach in franchise history onWednesday afternoon.
Randy had several stints as a player with the Stampede. During his time with Idaho, he was named to the All-D-League first team and was also named the league's MVP after the 2006-2007 season. His last year as a player was the 2007-2008 season when he helped the Stampede to the D-League Title.
During the 2008-09 season Livingston took on a new role with the 'Pede as an assistant under then head coachBryan Gates. After Gates left for the NBA, Randy landed in Portland,Maine with the Red Claws as an assistant coach.
After one season away from the Stampede Livingston returns to the Valley. A place he says is his second home.
